     The Rafter W Ranch is the place you need to be in the Spring to hunt the Rio Grande turkey. Here at the Rafter W we manage our turkeys just like we do our deer. We our proud of our land and the game we have on it.
    Each and every year, we take data from our hunters in the field, of how many turkeys were seen, heard, worked, missed, killed etc. Combined with our knowledge of the land and the turkeys we have on it, this helps us keep track of the turkeys here on the Rafter W.
    Unlike many other turkey hunting operations, we feed our turkeys all year round to insure that they stay here on the Rafter W. Our population of turkeys here on the Rafter W is tremendous. We take a maximum of 32 hunters per year here on 32,000 acres over a period of 4 hunts.
    If you want a place to hunt that is full of turkeys, not pressured and the next hunter isn't a hundred yards or two from you, then you need to come to the Rafter W Ranch and experience the thrill of hunting turkeys here in Texas.

Nothing beats the thrill of calling a big gobbler up close during spring turkey season.

    Here at Rafter W Ranches we have a large population of Rio Grande Turkeys.
    We only allow 32 hunters maximum to hunt during the spring season and each hunter may harvest two gobblers.Hunting is done on our 32,000 acres, all family owned and operated.
     Our hunts consist of four different 3-day hunts each season, taking a maximum of 8 people per hunt.
